Condobolin picnics transferred to Bathurst

The picnic meeting scheduled to be held at Condobolin on Saturday has been transferred to Bathurst

Racing NSW advised participants that the predicted 40-plus degree temperature was the main reason for the change.

“The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has forecast the temperature to reach 40 degrees in Condobolin on Saturday, prompting the decision to transfer the race meeting to Bathurst where the forecast is for lower temperatures,” a statement read.

As a result of this transfer, some distances were change, and readers can click here for full fields and changes.

Tickets purchased for the Condobolin meeting will be refunded, but the club will still hold their popular calcutta tonight at the track from 6.30pm.

The club has chosen Rosehill’s The Parramatta Cup for their calcutta, and it will be free entry, and there is food available from Frisky Brisket, along music by Tammy Buswell.

There will be lucky door prizes, and it should prove to be a great night for everyone.

As far as the racing at Bathurst on Saturday, entry is $10 and there will be a sausage sizzle, while the $11,000 Inland Petroleum Condobolin Cup will headline the six-race picnic card.
