Four of the best for Sinclair

The Peter Sinclair stable has been in terrific form of late, highlighted by another four wins today at Moree. Photo: Moree Race Club.

Peter Sinclair has dominated on his home track today, landing four winners at Moree Race Club‘s twilight meeting.
Sinclair had Queen’s Song win the first, the 1300m Maiden Plate, with Brooke Stower on board to boot home the $1.45 favourite.
Sinclair and Stower combined again in the second event, getting Let Him Fly home to win the 950m Maiden Handicap.
In the third on the card, Stower was on Sinclair’s favourite Captain Eyche, however the pair could only run second, funnily enough to Sinclair’s other runner, Elavada.
This time it was Belinda Hodder getting the job done, steering the four-year-old home in the 1200m Benchmark 50 race.
Sinclair and Stower went narrowly close to another win in the fifth event, when Swoop was beaten 0.42 lengths in the 950m Class Two, but the pair got their third winner together and Sinclair’s fourth winner in the last on the card.
Combining on Danigree, the seven-year-old was just too good for them in the 1400m Benchmark 66 event.
This winning haul won’t surprise those who follow the stable though with the popular Northern NSW trainer in a rich vein of form, most recently training a hat trick at Goondiwindi on November 30, and a plethora of winners at his home track, Moree during 2019.
The Moree trainer has been that good, that he sits on 22 winners for the season, ranked fourth among NSW Country trainers for 2019/20.
Sinclair will be hoping for a couple more winners when he teams up with Rachael Murray at Gunnedah Jockey Club on Tuesday.
Only time will tell if this winning run can continue for one of the industries favourite characters.
